Practical questions
Most trips combine time on the water with one longer day out. Robinson Island and the Kongo River sunset cruise are the easiest half days, Wasini Island and Kisite-Mpunguti Marine Park is the classic full day, and clear kayak photoshoots and jet ski rides fill the gaps in between.
Around 24 hours for local half days such as Robinson Island, the Kongo River cruise or Africa Pool, and 24 to 48 hours for full days like Wasini, Kisite-Mpunguti and the Mombasa Old Town tour. Jet ski rides can often be arranged the same day.
Tide-dependent experiences such as Robinson Island, Africa Pool and clear kayak photoshoots often work on the same day because they share a low tide. Full-day trips to Wasini or Mombasa are best left on their own day.
